How much water should you drink in a day?
You should always take into account other factors, such as temperature, if you’re exercising, and if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, in which case you’ll probably need more. Water isn’t the only way to meet your hydration needs, vegetables, fruit, and unsweetened beverages also count. The easiest formula is to take your weight and divide it in half, the number you get is the amount of water, in ounces, you should consume each day. For example, if you weigh 140 pounds, you should be drinking about 70 ounces (or nine cups) of water a day.
It is feels good to drink a glass of cold water with a hot meal. However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down the digestion. In case of cold water, very soon this will turn into fats and lead to stomach and heart disease. It is better to drink Green Tea, Hot Herbal Tea or warm water after a meal.
