Health care is a general term which is used to encompass various facets of human health that includes diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease, illness, injuries and other physical and mental impairments in humans. Health care includes the work done in providing primary care, secondary care, and tertiary care including public health. Access to the health care is largely dependent on various governments, its polices, social structure and economic conditions of the countries.
Health care is provided by doctors, nurses, paramedical staff, dentists, opticians and allied service providers. The quality and availability of the services is largely dependent on government polices and overall economic conditions of the populace. Various countries have different health care systems; these systems are basically designed to provide affordable health care to all, especially taking care of those who cannot afford due to poor economic conditions.
